We are delighted to announce that the Northampton Filmhouse has been granted funding from the BFI, Film Hub Midlands and the National Lottery from the Film Exhibition Fund to support our World Cinema Season.
The Film Exhibition Fund supports member cinemas to engage a broad and diverse audience with cultural film. Our funding means we can bring more films from around the globe right to your doorstep here in Northampton. The key priorities of the fund are:

To create opportunities for children and young people to experience a broader screen culture

To support public access to a wider choice of film and moving image, including stories that reflect their lives

To tackle social, economic and geographic barriers for audiences engaging in a broad and diverse screen culture
Part of the funding includes the introduction of our brand new 16-25 Membership – giving students and young people the chance to become a Screen Member for just £10 a year. The new membership offers priority booking, discounts and 2 for £8 on selected World Cinema Season titles – opening up a whole new world of film.
